Weight For It

It's not like it is mandatory for a person to gain weight over the holiday season. In fact, with my family's health history, excessive pounds and sugary foods are probably not the safest thing. I exercise on a regular basis and try to eat healthyish. In fact, as I write this I am eating a very large fuji apple. Of course, I did just finish some bacon and biscuits and gravy but I added the apple because I wanted this to be a healthy meal. Take note.

However, although weight gain is not mandatory, it does say a few things about your EAT CLUB status. This is the holidays after all, each week we are sitting down to a buffet and gorging ourselves. On one hand you have the need to be healthy. On the other you are a person of fantastic and dynamic eating skill. Although it is not mandatory to gain three pounds a week during the holiday season, come on. Don't you think it would be a little suspicious to your fellow eat clubbers if there was not at least a little bit of increase on that belly line? This is why there are more than one hole in your belt. Don't be shy, loosen it up.

Be healthy for sure. But a plethora of tasty treats, sugary morsels and extra large plates of food should not be intimidating but an adventure to test your ability in eating. So, with one day left in the holiday season, to keep true to what we believe just double up on the green beans and call it good.

Merry Christmas, please pass the stuffing.
